Break it down…

again. One of my most frequently searched posts was about home made flash cards. Very simple to do. Our home made flashcards are just snapped pictures of things in Luke’s world. Visuals of items can be very effective for learning words. I had Luke’s speech therapist breakdown the words in the most minimal way on up to two word phrases. I know, gross a flashcard of our toilet. But this is an important word for a toddler who needs to be able to communicate, I have to go potty!
